ABOUT ABBOTTABAD.

Abbottabad is a picturisque hilly station of Pakistan, located in the scenec valley of lower himalayas. It is located at the door steps of world's famous northern region of Pakistan. It is a major hub of renowned educational istitutions of Pakistan. It is hope fully called as the future silicon valley of pakistan. Abbottabad falls into the Hazara region of the North Western Frontier Province (NWFP). Abbottabad has an estimated population of 980,000. In terms of climate, the summers are hot and humid and the winters are bitterly cold. Being a hilly terrain, farm plots tend to be smaller. The major crop is wheat and crops are predominantly rainfed. Given the small scale agricultural activity, there is not much in the way of employment in Abbottabad's villages. The main field of recruitment is the army. Migration of unskilled laborers to the city to search for jobs is high.
